I get LA Totally Awesome Cleaner at the Dollar Store. It's also great for cleaning print heads. Just spray some in about a half inch of hot water and soak print head in the mixture. Spray some LA on top of the print head on the screens and let sit for an hour or so. Dab on some folded paper...
I bought a batch of Canon virgin CLI and PGI-5Bk cartridges. I've had no problems flushing out the CLI dye cartridges with clear water from my kitchen faucet, but am at a loss as to how to flush out the PGI-5Bk pigment cartridges. Water obviously doesn't work. I would appreciate any suggestions...
I've hit upon a pretty good bath solution for canon print heads - LA's Totally Awesome All Purpose Concentrated Cleaner purchased at my local Dollar Store. Cheap and effective! I sprayed a couple of shots in about 1/2 inch of water which I used to soak the print head in. I also sprayed some...
I got my squeeze bottles from the link below and am very hasppy with them. You can get the Canon package with the long needles which can be used with the German refill method.

I use a push pin that I press firmly while twisting to make an initial hole. I then use a screw eye to enlarge the hole. The size of the screw eye will determine the size of the hole.

I use a simple push pin that I press and turn until it is through the plastic. If I want the hole slightly bigger I use a screw eye that I screw in the hole created by the push pin. You can control the size of the hole by your choice of screw eye size. It works for me!

I would appreciate your posting the Howard Electronics email address and items numbers where you purchase squeeze bottles/scabbards. I can't seem to find the items on their web site.
Thanks,
