Hi,

I bought a new EPSON ET-18100 and have the problem, that prints are a little bit too long.
I print on custom paper size (329 x 579 mm) and a printed square of 310 x 558 mm is 310 x 561 mm long. So it is only stretched.
Borderless printing is not possible for custom formats, so I have no possibility to add overprinting. But I believe with overprinting the print is also wider not only longer.

Has anybody a hint, what could cause the problem?
I tried with and without bidirectional printing and other printing medias. Epson first level support has no useful hints (I should look for clogged nozzles :he)

Thanks
Holger

I have seen such length corrections for older large format printers via an Epson adjustment program but I don't know if that's available at all with an ET-18100 adjustment program

I am a bit confused by your size description.
So your using a paper size of 329 x 579mm

The image size you send to the printer is 310 x 558mm
But when printed the image turns out at 310 x 361mm.

Please correct me if I’ve got it wrong, but I seem to be missing something ?..

It was a typo. Image turns out 561 mm long. :) 3 mm longer than expected.
Also prints on A3 are longer, it has nothing to do with the media size.

it has nothing to do with the media size.
It’s most likely the App your using to output your image from, set incorrectly..

An image doesn’t change its size unless it is directed too, try your printer setting also..

It makes no difference to print via Illustrator or Photoshop. Same image with same settings sended to 1500W, L1800 and ET-16650 have correct output. I tried normal paper, inkjet paper, photo paper without or with borderless (no overprinting), prints are everytime a little bit to long.
It look like the feeding is not correct.

Have you done a horizontal alignment on it? The one with the overlapping/gapped rectangles?
