guys something is going on with this printer.Suddenly on prints (at normal resolution - no ovelaping printing-) i get a white line and printer make a strange noise when moving forward the paper. The line repeats every 3 cm and is in every color! When printing at higher resolution (overlaping prints) i get some "wave print pattern) I uploaded a video with the printer's noise when advancing the paper.

Please help :(

Best line of the week.

Credit to you for using video to demonstrate your problems. Good job all around!

Happy to hear you fixed your problem. At first I thought you had a malfunctioning print head since you described the loss of ink as symmetrical and repetitious throughout all colors. It could have been a clog in the print head.

Maybe there was dirt, dust, bits of paper, or something else that clogged on of the rollers, sprockets, or something else to make that pattern occur. By taking apart the printer you dislodged the foreign object or obstruction.

Have you put the printer back together again and is it still working OK?

yes, works fine! But i would prefer it "naked" :D
As for the ink consumption, canon, epson,Hp, etc, MUST "swallow" the fact that the more their machines consume ink w/o reason, more and more people won't touch their OEM inks! If they don't do something about it we will all use squid ink in the future! Maybe we should make a petition online about it! I mean, i buy a damn printer with my money i buy ink always with my damn money, at least let ME choose where this ink will end! (paper or waste bin)
