Found some nice paper stock thats been stored for a few years and wondered if there is a shelf life for ink jet paper (Im using the Epson 9900)?

Is there a usually best before date and if so, how long can you use it (with good results) after that? Will ageing affect the paper itself or e.g. the roll shape???

I believe optical brighteners on some papers will eventually degrade. That issue is of current debate amongst some pros, as to what happens when the optical brighteners age.

mikling..
I read your comments on brightness of paper degrading and can assure you thats not the case. If paper stock is kept wrapped or packed in its original covering after use it will not degrade at all. So long as the paper is not exposed to normal light or condensation it is perfectly safe years after purchase..
