Getting Fingers Dirty
I have a red resetter for Canon PGI-5 and CLI-8 carts. Recently it no longer work, red light never come on. The problem is the push-down plastic (black) which is supposed to push a power switch inside. Somehow after several months this plastic can no longer push the switch all way down.
The fix is simple and easy: just add a tape, about 0.5 to 1.0 mm thickness, to this black plastic to make it go deeper when you insert the cart.
