Hi,

that's what I've found, but haven't had the chance to test it:

___________________________________
This is the procedure to reset PG40. Worked for MP180.
1) Power off the printer. While holding STOP/RESET button, power on the printer.
2) While holding POWER button, release STOP/RESET button. Then push STOP/RESET button twice.
3) Wait about 20-30 second until the LED shows "0". The push STOP/RESET button four times.
4) Finally push POWER button twice. Last step is to turn off the printer by pressing the POWER button one last time.

Hope it works

I take it that you are referring to the ink level monitor facility being restored/reset after you have refilled an empty cart. You cannot do this , thereafter you have to monitor and refill as necessary by visual inspection of the cart or when one of the inks stops printing.

The procedure described by Simon R is referring to a "waste tank full " message . Have not checked it for accuracy , but it seems about right.
