Anybody catch the latest flood of printer ads on TV? Specially Kodak and Lexmark. They go on-and-on about how the new product don't screw you on ink anymore... penny a page they say. I wonder if this will have any effect on the ones that still try to get away $50 carts with 1cc of ink. :)

Depends on how many tech journalists they have in their pockets...

So far I am yet to see a single PC magazine do a full featured expose on all the stupid advertising claims from companies like HP (32% more printing from HP inks compared to compatibles - small print: based on figures published in 2006 survey of HP OEM vs' Joe Bloggs, crappola brand incompatibles)... :rolleyes:
