Ok, today I was given an Epson CX4600 All In One, this uses the above original cartridge with the baffles. These cartridges are the same ones as used on the Epson C64. Upon powering the machine up, the red inkdrop light indicated a problem with the ink....turns out the black cartridge is empty.
First question can anyone provide a way of refilling these original cartridges? All kinds of methods, but which one/ones really work.
Second, can I use some older Epson dye ink? I have some left over from a dead Epson 875DC. I just want to use the All In One for some quick copies of documents when I need to. Quality of copy in not a big deal.
