Rebadged printer?

Checking druckerchannel.de for news I saw this printer I would have thought was an HP entry level all-in-one, if it had not been for the badge. I wonder if it actually is an HP printer? Some HP Photosmart printers are very "Canon-like" and I remember some old HP Laserjets, that were "Canon inside".

Quite likely, I know from a relative who works for HP in the USA that they have a Lab. on their site which is shared by HP/Canon.

Only certified staff are allowed in and our nephew is not one of them, even though he is senior management on a different division

that could be with the canon / HP printer models that have "shared" ink cartriges for the Color inks..
since the printhead and ink reservoir is fused together I guess one of the companies holds the "Patent" for that
