I've been trying to print some text on plain paper but each time I try the text comes out unreadable because it's so light.

It seemed like something that would happen with low ink in that each letter doesn't quite looked filled in but I installed a new ink cartridge and it didn't make a difference.

I also tried cleaning the nozzle but no luck there either.

Anyone know what this problem is all about? Thanks

Have you tried driver controls for intensity contrast etc. Set them for auto or try manual. Does that make changes?
Try re-install printer driver.

I figured it out, it was actually the source PDF that for some reason was so light it wasn't working. I put it in photoshop, upped the levels and did it that way.
Thanks though.
