PGI-9 Cartridges (Lucia pigment-based cartridges)

Seeing some have dissected their cartridges, may I asked if anyone here have dissected Lucia Cartridges before? I believe they are PGI-9 series cartridges? I am curious to know the internal design of PGI-9 cartridges. As most online search, I saw them in their canon box package so I didn't have a opportunity to see what goes inside the box or the pictures were too small to see the cartridges clearly.

Here is a llink to the picture of the PGI-9 cartridge I found online. For those who uses PGI-9 cartridge? Does the PGI-9 cartridges contains sponge like the PGI-5BK cartridges? Do the PGI-9 cartridges look anything like the PGI-5BK other than the PGI-9 cartridge being non transparent?
