opaque sides to cartridge makes use difficult

I'm accustomed to transparent cartridge sides, but lately cartridges have opaque sides making identification difficult.

Plus, some of these carts come from three different 3rd parties and identifies the contents with only a code such as TO79520 in very fine print. I only know now what that code represents.

Can someone name a manufacturer free of these issues?
