Looking for new color inkjet

My Cannon i960 is going south and I'm looking for a new one. I would also like to be able to print Panoramic photos no longer than 24-36 inches.
Any good Ideas which will give me good photos and panoramic. My price range is 300-400 or there abouts.

Have you been refilling the cartridges for your i960 and are you planning to refill whatever new printer you get?
Are you only interested in photo printing or text printing also?
Have you considered a wide format printer?
Do you want to continue with a Canon printer that uses the older style cartridges that do not have chips in them?
What is wrong with your i960?

No I haven't been refilling the ink, I have had bad luck in the past with that. Photo printing is mainly what i'm looking for, especially Panoramic.
I will try any printer wide or not but I don't have any use for a wide format.
I can't seem to get the banding on the panoramic photos right. I have taken out the print head and tried to clean it and it didn't seem to help.
I have printed a 8x10 and it seemed to work ok but it's really having trouble finding the start of the paper when loading and I'm having to deep clean it everytime I want to use it. I have tried to clean the rollers off.
