Hi, I think everyone know what light scribe is but you need special CD's or DVD's to make it work.
I remember that similar technology by Yamaha allowed to burn text and images to data side where there is unused space.
I tried to hack a light scribe DVD 18X drive to make it burn on normal CD data side and was successful, but nothing was burned.
The CD is too much reflective to get actually burned by using light scribe mode
