Is the Canon IP4300 discontinued?

Hi,

I have noticed that on a couple of sites, this printer is listed as discontinued, and that it is not available on a number of others (e.g., Amazon). However, it is still available from Canon on-line. Does anybody know if it is really discontinued? If so, does anybody know what Canon is coming out with to replace it? This printer seems to be the best bet for my needs, and I'm wondering if I should buy one while I still can.

I don't know if it is discontinued, but I have noticed that there are fewer specials and the online prices are up.

Doesn't seem to be discontinued. May be is just hard to get

There has been a big price drop at the local Staples as of Aug 1..my guess is that they will soon be out of stock. Get one while you can. This usually signifies end of production, and possible introduction of newer models.
