ip4500 now phased out... to be replaced by ip4680

in my country (Philippines) the canon ip4500 is now very RARE for the last couple of months...
only recently i had a reliable information that canon has stopped distributing it...
they will soon replace it with the ip4680...
googling ip4680 only reveals japanese/chinese (not sure) websites...
but based on some figures the ip4680 will be 1picoliter with 26ppm black (kinda slower than ip4500 = 31ppm)...

It's a new cartridge and chip from what I've heard... They're obviously working to stamp out the resetter.

It seems that the only innovation Canon made these last two years was how to make refilled cartridges burn the printhead.
