Sorry I can't help you but I buy my Canon ink from www.inksupply.com . They specialize in Epson solutions and you might find something there that will help you. They will also respond to email questions.
Hi Rodney,
Ink - check out the recommendations throughout the forum.
Monitor calibration - If you're being perfectionist, you will have to spend money on a hardware calibration device. You might like to try Atrise Lutcurve (http://www.atrise.com/lutcurve/) as a cheaper alternative.
Afterthought - If your work is too big to fit a flatbed scanner, the easiest way to digitize would be to photograph it. Profile Prism should help here too, as it can profile cameras. The included IT8 target can be photographed alongside the artwork to ensure accurate colour in different lighting conditions.
