i9900 printhead removal

Can someone tell me where I can find instructions on how to remove the printhead from a Canon i9900 for cleaning?

Open the lid, lift the lever, lift the print head out.

Easier said than done I had someone try to do this with their iP5200. Somehow he broke the lever! I cannot imagine how that could have happened. Can anyone shed some light on this?
