How can one fix or repair a small pinhole break on the control ribbon
that is on the backside of a Lexmark #33 cartiridge?
One of the contacts on the printer may have burnt or somehow scratched a tiny hole on the thin
control ribbon on the inkjet cartiridge thereby not completing one circuit.
Is there a method to bridge this tiny gap so that the circuit is complete & usable?
Thanks for any help on this.

If the problem is due to scratching, try using a conductive pen to repair the scratches. I have fixed a broken keyboard membrane (not a very different problem to what you describe).

The hole is right thru the clear control ribbon such that a little piece is missing.
Missing the circuit portion and clear ribbon portion.
