Hello and what a pleasure to be here!

As this is my first post on ANY forum EVER, please forgive my ignorance if in the next few sessions, I tread on someone's toes or something similar. I'm here to expand my unquenchable thirst for knowledge of inkjet printing.
I have 3 machines - all Epsons, 1x WF-7710, 1x Stylus Photo 1500W (which I thought after 7 years of neglect whilst I was in and out of hospital was toast, but because when I have a problem I'm like a dog with a bone, and won't let go until I've eaten it - or in my case solved it! Which I did!) and finally an as yet, unopened Stylus Photo R285, which I'm hoping to convert to Carbon 6, following my encounter with the outstanding work and gifts to the Public Domain from Paul Roark, photographer.

I know I've gone on a wee bit but as I mentioned earlier, this is my first ever forum - I'm not even on the social media network FB etc,
So if I rant on a bit, please quietly take me to one side and point out my faults etc,

I will, over the next few days or so - write on my profile page so can see what floats my boat, so to speak. In the meantime, many thanks for taking the time (hopefully) to read this. I'll be looking in the Black and White parts of the forum, especially with reference to the Carbon 6 or even Carbon 4 process/es. One of my "Moody" Whitby shots attached.

You’re not alone on this one. I too only frequent this forum and no other, and steer clear of all social media sites, a smart phone I do not own, for good reason..
