If you know anyone who lives in the states, there is a great deal on the canon site:

http://shop.usa.canon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10051_10051_235931_-1

For $25 it comes with 400 sheets of PP-201 4x6 High gloss paper, 20 sheets of High gloss 5x7 paper, and 20 sheets of 8.5x11 paper.

It's normally $50 --> but when you check-out, type: "5PAPER50" into the promotion code. You get 50% off, and that's an incredible deal. You can buy some other papers there too -> 100 sheets of glossy 8.5x11 for $15 with the promotion code.

The promotion code only works for a US mailing address.

The promotion code ends June 5th, or whenever supplies run out.

Now, if you live in Canada or don't mind paying for international shipping, there is another amazing deal in the canadian canon store:

http://estore.canon.ca/product_catalogue/cat_product_detail.asp?product_code=7980A022&category_id=2

$5 for a 120 PP-101 high gloss sheets.

There is a slight difference in quality between PP-101 and PP-201 explained here:

I'm a slight noob, so I'm not sure how well this works with different printers.

I would imagine that this paper would work fine with Canons as well as HPs, Epsons, and any other brand of printer. But I am not as experienced as some of the big guys here.

Is this paper good enough in terms of compatibility for the average user?

Generally speaking, most glossy photo papers made by any manufacturer can be used in other manufacturers printers (but the colors might be slightly off), except for printers that use color pigment ink, such as Epson's DURABrite ink. These need special glossy photo papers designed specifically for pigment ink. Try telling your Canon printer that you are printing on plain paper and then put in a glossy photo paper and print something with black in it. You will see after the ink dries that the black ink can be wiped right off the paper.

For a Canuck, a $5 order turns into $14+ with shipping and taxes - which is a pricey shot in the dark if you don't know how the paper produces..

The price goes down if you buy multiple stacks --> from what I've seen in terms of Canadian pricing, this is a good deal.

If you buy like 6 stacks or so, the shipping is about the same --> and it turns out to a little more than 5 cents per 4x6 page. Keep in mind that this is a quarter of what you would be paying at the normal price.

The American Costco site sells Kirkland 4x6 for about 5 cents per page too, and from what I understand that's the best deal that people can find on this forum at regular pricing.

If you know of any better pricing please link me!
