Canon S520 print head problems

I can't seem to print at all, the printer goes through the motions of printing, but blank pages come out. Black works fine, it is the colour....absolutely nothing on the paper. I took out the head and did a blot test, all 3 colours are there, and blot test looks normal, so there is no clog. I am suspecting that the colour head is burned out. I have read elswhere of a fuse somewhere on a circuit board that can blow, and cause the same problem. Has anyone come across this problem and what if anything was the conclusion?
