Hi,
I have a Canon MP800 and am using canon compatible ink tanks made by MMC. 3 are compatile and 2 are still genuine as they have not run out yet. It has printed many times before with this configuration but recently started coming up with an error message on the screen of the printer. The message says: "The type of printhead is incorrect. Install the correct printhead". There is no error reference number and I cannont print or do anything else with the printer. I have googled the error and found nothing of any relevance. Please reply if you know of or have had any experience relating to this problem.
