Canon I960

I have replaced my purge unit on a Canon I960. While I as doing this a copper clip came off and I cannot find out where it goes. Does anyone know where it belongs?

I think it is part of a leaf spring for the print head latch handle. There are two leave springs for the handle on top of the print head carriage. One for the two in your printer is broken off.

No, both of them are still there. This spring is shaped differently than those two.

Thanks anyway but I found where it goes. It holds that metal band that goes through the printhead.
