I have a 4 year old i960 that (suddenly) cannot correctly print photos when anything other than "plain paper" is selected. If ANY Photo Paper option is chosen, the prints turn out saturated with magenta.
If "plain paper" is selected, the prints are adequate but lack vibrancy and depth - even on photo paper.
This is true regardless of the image source, computer or OS (Vista or XP). At Canon's suggestion, I've removed, cleaned, and re-seated the printhead, cleaned, deep cleaned and nozzle checked. I've never used anything but OEM inks (which I still have lots of). Still magenta mess.
Any ideas? I'm greatful for any help or direction - I really don't want to pitch this thing!
Thanks!!
Paul
