Hi
I have cleaned the print head on my Bother MFC J6720DW and in doing so had to remove a fair bit of equipment on the printer to get the head out completely, I have now put everything back together as was (not too difficult). When I turned it back on without new ink (cartridges empty) it starts up but shuts down after going through the set up procedure. I can get it to start up normally if I leave the top open so you can see inside. As soon as I shut the top down it shuts off?
Has anybody come across this problem as it wasn't there before and I have checked all the cables numerous times to ensure all is connected.
