I was at Fry's yesterday and saw the price tag for MP780 at $99.99. They gave $50 instant off then you get $100 rebate from Canon. They have a ton of it. Well, it's strange enough. I still saw people buying HP and Epson at the same time. As I always suspected. Canon does a very poor marketing job. I heard it could take 4 months to get a rebate check from Canon. Maybe this is why the rebate is not getting buyers still. If you are looking for a decent printer (a mutifunction actually) MP780 is a good one. I don't think it does photo as good as any real photo printer such as ip8500 or i960. But without close comparison it is still an impressive photo printer.
