    Problem With G&g Cartridges

As I originally posted there was no clog. The cartridge was dry at the sponge and had ink in the chamber. The design has changed. Other cartridges immediately work. New style cartridges from G&G have problem. As far as G&G not supplying ink, I use them because a previous post on this sight...

For a long time I have been a satisfied user of G&G cartridges from www.800catalog.com. Cheap, very high quality etc. My last order included Magenta cartridges witht the vent hole located on the opposite end. the cartridges stop working 1/2 way through the use. No low ink, No clogs and no...

    G&G Cartridges

I called catalog800.com and asked about expiration dates and they gave 11/2008. Looks like these are okay by what I have read on the board. Thanks for the lead. They were $9.95 per 5 cartridges. I am going to check them as soon as they are delivered and will report back.

    G&G Cartridges

I have so far used Pro Color cartridges but I need to order more. I recently read Neil's review of the improved G&G cartridges and would like to try them. Does anyone know of a supplier with the good cartridges in stock in the USA? Thanks in advance.

Pro Color cartridges From Alot of Things

I just finished printing 45 Tri Fold brochures, 15 DVD's and 15 Dvd covers for my daughter's basketball team using these cartridges in my ip4000. They look great. Cover had a team picture and a basketball graphic. Tri folds were printed on plain paper and looked good. The dvd were verbatim...

    What 3rd Party Ink?

Fotofreak, Instead of pure bleach to clean up hrd surfaces, might I suggest Soft-Scrub with bleach. Works great, but not as aggressive or hazardous.

    What 3rd Party Ink?

I have received the pro color cartridges and quickly printed a 5x7 photo on Ilford Galerie Professional Smooth Gloss Paper. I have not done a lot of checking, but the initial impression is that the picture stands alone as a very acceptable photo. I printed with a brand new ip4000 that had...

For the BIG THREE (Fromulabs, Image Specialist, Hobbicolors)

Okay, I have gotten the feeling that these 3 companies are the most preffered suppliers of third party ink for refills on the board. I read in one post where a user was using Red River Paper with Weink (which I believe is probably a image specialist ink), and getting good results with little...

    What 3rd Party Ink?

Mccoady, I again have not even had a cartridge delivered yet. If I was reading today I would try Hobbicolors on DC's recomendation. If I did not like it, I would have some very good refillable carts left to order Formulabs ink for from alotofthings. If every thing works well from...

    What 3rd Party Ink?

Mccocady, I am only one step ahead of you here. I had read and absorbed all the advice as did you. I tried to order Image Specialist ink from MIS initially and due to confusion caused by their website, ended up with the wrong item. I then got an IP4000 and ordered cartridges from...

    What 3rd Party Ink?

Mccoady, I recently spoke to Joe at alotofthings.com and he reccommended Pro Color inks as a formulab cartridge from their sight. If you were to get into refilling the carts then he said they are relatively easy to work with. I am awaiting my first order and will post a review as soon as I can.

    What 3rd Party Ink?

I compare this to the mod chips of the game consoles out on the market. For years the original playstation had a chip that required 5-7 wires to be soldered to the mother board and then you could copy games to a normal cd and then play the game backup. Then came the PS2. It took almost a year...

Why I have given up on anything but OEM cartridges.

Websnail. Your comments are appreciated and I feel bad for attacking them so hard for being the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. I have gone back to the sight and have seen that they have all ready made an effort to correct some of the issues I complained about. THey would not...

Why I have given up on anything but OEM cartridges.

tyamada, I have that running all ready. I am just frustrated because I am so deep into trying to make this work that It could no longer be cost effective. I have read of the good luck people have here and have not experienced any. Every order is messed up. When i went to MIS looking for what...

Why I have given up on anything but OEM cartridges.

I agree I was wrong to treat the lady that way. I was just overly frustrated at the was my journey has gone. I posted the same post on the MIS web forum and showed how if you are not familiar with their product you can go to their site, order a pigment based ink with no knowledge of what it...
