Done a search and trawl of the forum but cant find a definite answer. So guys do the different colour Canon cartridges have identical chips so any cartridge can be used for any colour with suitable washing etc. ?
The reason I m asking is I have 8 genuine Cli-8 empty cartridges for refilling...
The Canon ip3600 is still available everywhere for about 62 online in the UK. It uses 521 cartridges which you can see through and is an excellent printer. I ve been using one for almost 3yrs with no trouble using a CISS plus inks from Fotorite and done probably 2000 A4 colour pics in that...
I did mention this in another thread but its probably more appropriate here. I was looking on HPs site at Premium Plus glossy paper and noticed in the specs sheet it has changed from 280gms to 300gms and is now instant dry...
I ve just been to HP site looking at the specs of their Premium Plus glossy photopaper and it looks like they ve changed it compared to what I have now. Mine is 280gms and slow drying the paper,on the site is 300gms and instant dry.(dont think Im looking at the wrong one?) Anyone confirm this...
Interesting comment by Fish re ozone. Hippyshake does live on the coast nearer the sea ( less than 1km), than the rest of us so ozone may be a factor for her as well. I have an ioiser that produces ozone I ll have to put a print near it to see what happens.
