Thanks for your reply! The now empty 220 is see-through. The 225 is opaque... but they are same size - Is it easier to transfer chip or to use a needle/syringe method? I've never refilled cartridge before - but I am smart/good with detailed procedures/technology. :P

bought a 225 by mistake.. looks same (size etc etc) but my mp620 doesn't recognize it. Wonder if one of you wise souls would fill me in on options as I've already opened the cartridge can I force the machine to override the error and use the ink? or transfer ink from 225 to empty 220 cartridge...
