Can pigment ink be put in the ET 2650?

I've read mixed information online about this... would it be a problem that pigment ink may have particle sizes too big for the printhead and be prone to clogging? Since the ET-2650 is designed for dye ink. Or is the printhead similar enough to those for the pigment ink printers?

    Brother LC406 refill

I am considering buying the Brother MFC-J5855DW as it can print 11 x 17, uses pigment ink, and the price is comparable to Epson's wide format printers. I was looking into how to refill the cartridges to save money. I don't see any refillable cartridges or resetters for sale online. Someone told...

Can't install ArgyllCMS drivers for Colormunki

In Device Manager, I go to Update Driver> Browse my computer for drivers> Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer> Have Disk Then I select the directory where the driver file is in C:\Argyll_V2.3.1\usb. I get this error I've tried booting in safe mode, I still can't install...

A basic guide (see post #1) to setting up ARGYLL CMS profiling on your computer

Sorry if this is a stupid question. What spectrophotometer should I buy to use with ArgyllCMS for printer profiling? I know the Colormunki Photo is a commonly used one. I did see this list of known working spectrophotometers. I'd guess monitor calibrators will not work as they don't have a...

    New here

Not printing as in there’s no ink going onto the film? Like no ink at all, not even the slightest bit? At first I would say there's air or cleaning solution in the print head but since you said running a cleaning, there is ink going to the waste tank, so maybe not the case. How does a nozzle...

Inkjet printer that has a white ink option

I think op wants to be able to print opaque white onto transparent material. Actual white toner printers like the ones Oki and Uninet offers are another option, however that requires a much bigger budget.

Inkjet printer that has a white ink option

You can look into DTF, however, it will be around 2x your budget. DTF also requires daily maintenance. You can also look into Ghost white toner. However, I’m not very familiar with it and not sure how you can print white and color in one pass.

Using Ecotank 542 Durabrite ink for refilling WF-4730

I really wish so too, but I highly doubt that will happen any time soon, and any attempts to pass such a law will probably be massively lobbied against by printer companies. Not to mention IP protection, printer companies could file for a patent to prevent certain design elements from being...

Using Ecotank 542 Durabrite ink for refilling WF-4730

Is there some law in Europe that prevents printer companies from making it too difficult for third party compatible chips to be produced? I’m not sure if it would be possible to flash firmware from a European model onto an American model. However, I saw someone on r/sublimation in Reddit say...

Using Ecotank 542 Durabrite ink for refilling WF-4730

Nah not the current WF 7xxx series A3 printers sadly. I’m also keeping an eye out on local marketplaces for a WF 71xx, 76xx, or 77xx series printer (the previous generation) as self resetting chips and chipless firmware is available. However, most of them that I’ve seen are either broken (with...

Using Ecotank 542 Durabrite ink for refilling WF-4730

I was looking into the WF-7310 or WF-7840 models as well as they can print A3 size and has a rear feed. However, I was not able to find refillable solutions for the 802 or 812 cartridges. From what I’ve read, supplies are region locked so 405 compatible cartridges will not be compatible with...

Using Ecotank 542 Durabrite ink for refilling WF-4730

I'm considering buying the Epson WorkForce WF-4730 because it is the cheapest pigment ink printer with CISS and chipless firmware available. Original ink is very expensive. I'm aware that third party refill ink will almost never be exactly like OEM quality, so I was thinking, can I use Ecotank...

    LD Products ink?

while I don’t have experience, I’d stick with OEM ink for eco tank printers, the ink is already much cheaper than cartridges.

    LD Products ink?

It seems to be a pretty reputable brand. I used LD ink when I had a Epson XP-410. It’s ok but certainly not close enough to the original ink colors if you want to be able to print quality color images.

    Epson Printer Suggestions For Sublimation

where can I get T812 compatible chips? I can only find refillable T812 cartridges and CISS that don’t come with chips. I don’t think there’s chipless firmware available yet, unless I haven’t looked far enough.

    Epson Printer Suggestions For Sublimation

I have been also looking into getting into sublimation. My friend has a ET-2800 mainly for doing mugs, tumblers, coasters, etc. but rarely t shirts. If you want to get into t shirts, I’d suggest you consider A3+, as a regular A4 printer will be rather limiting in size for t shirts. Then again...
