    Mono laser... Any recommendation?

Laser mono printer: While I have continued to use my Canon i950 for photo printing, refilling carts probably a hundred times a least, I needed a laser mono printer for office use for basic mono printing and to use as a copy machine. The Brother MFC 7360N is cheap and is a workhorse. You...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I have not looked for LC-41's so I don't know what's available, but I would bet that if you take one of them apart you will be able to find a way to connect a hose, block the cart. vent and put it back together. It is not easy with the LC51's so I would guess they made the 41's at least as hard...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I'm using refillable LC-51 carts bought empty from www.buyinknow123.com [ I paid 12.98 for 4 ] . There are also filled refillable ones with bottles of ink like from inkjetmall.com. I saw those 4 for $20. To make a CISS you have to make a small hole in the back in a place not in the way...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

You might be interested in a CISS for the LC-41's. http://exchangerate.ws/product.php?product=Brother+LC41+Continuous+Ink+System+with+UV+INK Using a CISS is the best way to go in my opinion because what messes up the printheads is running out of ink and running the head dry and with a CISS...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I have refilled LC-51's but it is not easy. As far as drilling through the outer shell and inserting a tube...I think that would result in a big mess because it seems almost impossible to seal the inner shell that way. Open the outer shell and make a resealable hole in the inner shell for...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I built my own continuous ink system. It's simple but can be messy so don't try it unless you understand how these work very well. THe LC51 is designed to make it difficult !

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I also think most any inkjet cart. ink will work. I've been using "Mr.Ink Jet" bulk refill ink listed as for the Canon BCI cartridges and it seems to work fine. I've used it in other cart's in addition to the LC51's too and it seems ok. Might make a difference if you're into fine art...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I FIND PLASTIC ELECTRICAL TAPE WORKS BEST. Might have a problem removing the Scotch unless you folded over the end. Also a window in the outer casing is a help so you can view the ink level easier but you can also view it in the front where the printer reads it. Glad I got you going!

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

Once the cart. is opened up you see there are several possible places to access the inner tank. I made the refill through the rear hard border of the inner tank for the continuous feed black cart. For the others I made a small opening through the soft clear plastic and closed it with...

Anyone successfully refill the new Brother LC51 carts?

I have refilled and also created a continuous bulk ink supply for the lc51. I had to totally take the cartidge apart... very cleverly made !!!! They really tried hard to make it difficult for us in several ways without resorting to a "chipped cartridge." What a pain. There is a small...
