And yes, I do like the pixma ip-series, I had the 2200 (I think), it's still sitting in my basement, more or less intact (I manually reset the function that turned it off after a certain amount of hours)... Perhaps I'll unearth that one if I don't find...

Anyone knowledgeable: My Pixma IP4300 printhead just died, but I still have lots of cartridges. There is a local offer of a IP4500 printhead, the thing looks very similar, only difference that I see is that the plastic base up front is somewhat shorter. Could I use that printhead in the IP4300...
