    My new printer. Canon iP7250

It remains to be seen whether my cheap cartridges are of good quality. I will let you know if I have a problem. I have been tempted by the refillable system offered by "Coralgraph", do you know of them? Has anyone here anything to report about them? (http://www.coralgraph.com/bulk-refill-ink)...

    My new printer. Canon iP7250

I posted here with the problems I was having with my old iP3000, and after some sage advice from your members, finally skipped the old beast and bought a new iP7250. So I thought someone might like to know of my experience. It is a fine printer, and does everything I need. The only complaint I...

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

I have spoken to Jet-tec, who assure me that their product does NOT contain acetone, but claimed it was IPA. I assume this means Iso-Propyl Alcohol, rather than India Pale Ale. Sorry, my mistake.

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Well, I don't really know. It smells like nail polish remover so I have always assumed it was Acetone. It does not list the ingredients on the packet, or the bottle. I have emailed Jet-tec and asked them to reveal its composition. This is what it looks like:

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Thanks for that, and I have seen these available on eBay for 46GBP, but I could almost buy a new printer for that, is it worth trying to resurrect the old one? I'd like to be "green" and I would rise to the challenge, but with a heavy heart I think it is time to let go...

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Sorry, I can't print anything at all at the moment, I've tried cleaning and flushing and so on, and then I got this flashing LED telling me that the head was incorrectly installed. I had another go today, and that seems to have cleared. but it still won't put ink to paper.

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Thanks for the help, It was probably time to get a replacement, I've had two iP3000s and been refilling for years. It has become a habit. I have probably saved enough money on ink to afford a new one! I have been looking at the Canon ip7250, which is only £50, and for which you can buy...

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Hello again, I have tried to clean the print head once again. This time using suction to get the warm water to flow back through the head, as you suggested. Sadly this made things worse, and I could not get it to print in black at all. Even after repeated "deep cleaning". So I took it out again...

Canon G series. "megatank" CISS printers

I am seeing ads and stuff for a new series of Canon inkjet that uses refillable tanks rather than cartridges. Competition for the Epson "Ecotanks". Unfortunately they don't seem to be on sale in the UK right now. Does anyone have any experience of them, and can give a review? for example...

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Thank you for your reply, but I have considered that, and I am presently using a genuine Canon 3e-BK ink cartridge. I was concerned that the cartridge that I was using, which is quite old, was in need of replacing anyway, and I wondered if the latest batch of Jet-Tec pigment ink may have been at...

    Canon iP3000 Black "dries up"

Hello this is my first post, and of course, it is a problem... My printer, a Canon iP3000, will not print in Black until it has been through a few cleaning cycles and possibly a couple of "deep cleaning" procedures as well. The machine then works fine for a few hours, but the next day, it will...
