Guymark, I was planning to do something similar with id cards. A quick search on Ebay (say inkjet id pvc cards) brings up a number of cards that the sellers claim can be printed on by inkjet. The cards do seem to be coated - some single sided, some double sided. The cost seems to be a lot...
That was pretty much as I was thinking but it is reassuring to here you have been mixing the inks without problem. My reasoning was if the chemistry had changed the marketing people would have jumped straight onto that and sold everyone on the need to upgrade.

I am refilling 3880 carts with Original Ultrachrome K3 inks (or HDR) from original Epson...
Thanks for the quick reply Peter. The local copy shop had no card (you`re joking right..?) so I printed using a laser onto normal stock paper, added a few labels to the back for weight, trimmed and hey-presto it worked first time.

I read the thread and would dearly love to be able to print out a little piece of trickery to allow me to use Lexmark carts in my Primea.
It looks like the file for the image of the barcode isn`t available in sendspace anymore..
