Sounds like you are overfilling. Can't believe anybody has success with these, fair play Manachau. I work for one of the biggest refilling companies in the world and even we cannot find a way around these. Lucky if 1 in 3 work.
This is a common problem, more than likely an air block. Take a syringe, remove the needle. Insert it into the "outlet hole" and pull back on the syringe until you start to see ink. Simple.
Good luck
They should still work but they cannot be reset. The sponges in the new Lexmark cartridges are shite, you wont get many refills out of these. 1 or 2 if you're lucky.
Do not remove the cap, ever. Completely pointless, you are just creating work for yourself. Drip fill it through the ports (this will not contaminate the cartridge, EVER!!), when it starts to leak from the top ( it's just overfilled), turn it upright, leave it on a paper towel, which will force...
These are surprisingly, really good refills, best of all the new cartridges I've come across. Simple peel and fill. Only problems I've come across are electrical.
Cheers.
Hi rick,
Just because the printer reads the cartridge as empty does not mean it will not print. You can bypass the ink low warning by clicking "continue". I dont use these printers very much with a pc, just test them. I'm positive they work. I too, am looking for a way to reset them though...
