Well, tried the i9900xp175ausZ driver, but I have an AMD 64 Turion processor, so that driver won't work (that driver only works with Intel 32 bit drivers on XP)... so on to try other drivers and solutions. Looks like I can possibly set the print driver such so I can do a 11x17 quality and "fit"...

Trust me, I check three times... and it still goes back to what seems to be a "default" setting on the i9900 driver. So I am thinking this is an OS/Driver issue. Will be testing and reporting on results soon...

Heyas Grand-Dad(35), I think you and I are seeing the same types of issues, so I will give your solution a try and go back and get the canon i9900 drivers you suggested. I am guessing that there "IS" something with the Win 7(64) OS and drivers that is causing the (incompatibility) problem...

Yep, did that with some plain (inexpensive) paper (with "photo" settings in the profile) - got the same results. (nods) Will try with an XP (32 bit) machine I have, but hadn't quite gotten to that point yet - but was going to if nothing here had turned up a "Oh you just need to do X, Y and Z"...
