I do not have the i9900, but from your printouts looks like your yellow print nozzle is plugged. I fix my Canon
print nozzle by taking the print head out and spray a stream of warm water on the nozzle screen, watch some
yellow ink come out from the bottom of the print head, wipe the print head...
I bought this ip3300 a month ago and had to refill all 4 cartridges, it works find so far until I noticed an 8x10 picture,
it is a portrait of a Chinese movie star. Her hair is black on the monitor, yet when I print it out, her hair turns dark
blueish. I think the printer only uses the 3 color...
Thanks Mikling, I was thrilled to see the new resetter come to market, I went to the site.
Sure they have it. However, there is a concern that the resetter only works on printers
sold before March 07. I think I just have to hang on for a little while before buying
one, but it's nice to hear...
According to what I see in the market now, any cartridge with a chip with 9 contacts on it won't have a reseter
that can reset the ink counter, and that is the 69 series and the 78 series. And in the stores here, they only sell
Epsons using these new type of cartridges, you can't find any Epson...
I just bought an ip 3300 and I find the printer very easy to refill ( already switched the 5pgbk cartridge with another empty one) and the refill process is the same as a BCI3e.
The ink monitor is nice to have but if you check physically from time to time and refill at an early stage I dont see...
I have an ultrasonic cleaner for jewelries and eyeglass etc., I use it on HP cartridges
and find it very effective, yet this cleaner is deadly when applied to Canon print heads
like the BC 20, or the print head on i560s, I think the reason behind that is those
print head that have molds inside...
Just an idea, has anyone ever filled a cartridge with colored Windex and printed with it in order to clean the print head? That will carry the cleaning fluid right past the individual nozzles. Will this work on pg40's also?

Thanks a lot KnightCrawler for the recommendation, the canon ip4300 seems to be the right choice.
However this morning I saw in Staples there is Canon ip3300 on sale for 59.99, compare
with the ip4300 for 149.99, the difference is that the3300 cannot print CDs and have
only one black...
HP and all other kinds nowadays are not constructed like the good old days, they are cheap and flimsy, and are not meant to be serviced but go straight to the dump. Besides, so what if one can take it apart, you cannot easily find parts for them. I tried to repair an Hp6540, all one need is the...
I am new in this forum, but I did some tests with inks, I tried both Epson and Canons. I ended up using Epson
printers for photo prints period. However, when printing pictures (8x10's) I use only dye base inks on Epson printers
even the manufacture use ultra bright inks which I think is a...
Thanks a lot lolopr1 for the information. I did go to the link to look at the cartridges. Seems to be a terrific solution for people with Epson printers-not only the r series but for older models too. I wish I know about this product before. I 'll get a set asap.
I had 3 Epsons before, one still...
I bought a new epson cx4800 in January 07. I like to print 8 x 10 photo which use a lot of ink, and the epson can do
the job better than most printers around $100 in the market, being a heaver user, I bought the 2 year warrenty also.
Just last week the printer stop printing yellow. I refill the...
