Using a sheet of Ilford Smooth Pearl, I printed an image with a Canon Pro9000 MK II using all (almost all?) OEM ChromaLife 100 inks. Mostly green and red to the eye, but a color histogram shows that there is actually a lot of blue within.

Don't forget, putting a print behind any surface or film is more important than UV filtering per Canon's own information. But everyone concentrates on UV. The Chromalife 100+ inks are rated far longer on UV than they are gas fading. Thirty years vs. ten, something like that.

If anything, dot matrix were and are reliable. No bad prints, er, letters, ever. It's funny, I LIKED the noise. I knew something real was going on, like the burble of a throaty exhaust.
Of course there's no more Ilford inkjet papers, you know. Folded and bankrupt almost two years ago. Does not impact Harman, the parent company of the Ilford wet darkroom products.
