Thinking outside the box here but is there something on the roller edges that is stretching/warping the paper slightly? The results seem to be entirely too uniform for it to just be some kind of judder or play in the printhead itself. Just my 2 penneth worth.

I guess that's a distinct possibility but bit odd that Canon might have a difference in carrier fluid. Sounds like a process for flushing the printhead buffer would be useful to avoid that sort of issue. Outside of my experience to date but maybe something for the future.

Did you ever play with the Inktec Maxify inks (C5000)? Understand your decision to work with the GI-56 inks though. I've been considering supporting the process for Maxify with some instruction videos but I don't have any more space to bring in printers until I clear out at least 10 of the 40...

Thanks for your input on that. As for inks, when you say with the compatible (and harvested large format inks) none were "satisfying" was that due to the colour rendition (presumably without profiling) or issues with clogging, etc..?

Here's another video that I did here in case it's of use too: I'd originally thought it was WICReset or Service Tool only myself but for G1000 to G4000 it seems not. Worth noting that G5000 series and above are a different story though.
