The top "sponge" is not hydrophobic, by the way. They both soaked up ink in GHWellsjr's experiments. Reportedly, one sponge just has a smaller pore size than the other. And Canon does deliver some cartridges with the upper sponge almost filled. I wouldn't leave too much conditioning solution...

I used to use InkTec for HP, and it was good. I suggest also that you contact WebSnail on this forum (I forget his company name), or Precision Colors in Canada. They will have what you need.

I can't remember if I commented before, but I have a surprising reaction when I look at this picture now. It's too perfect. The one remaining shrub is a little disturbing, and the absence of the others is even more disturbing. It's just too perfect, as if nature is too barren and abstract and...

Well, it's one thing if the printer is broken, but it's quite another to require them to pay people whose printer works fine. I think we need penalties for lawyers who pull that kind of stunt, and they should fire judges who agree to it. That is, assuming I understand the settlement correctly.

Right. If you include the massive amounts of free paper, I paid probably $50 for the printer, and now they have to pay me $50 or $75 credit, and I get to keep the printer. I'm perfectly willing to take advantage of Canon if they enter into it voluntarily, but this is kind of unfair...

OK, here's one. This is a bit cropped, so I wouldn't print it too large. Maybe not enough for a calendar.
