I wish it was only that. Unfortunately it's what's built into the core of the software and if it supports USB port printing vs. LAN / network printing, etc.
For the most part I do just fine with CURA. There have been a few times where I've had models that no matter what I do, they have weird...
I think about switching from Cura to Orca slicer a lot. In fact, Angus is a big fan (and I really respect him).
... BUT, Cura is able to print direct to my Ender 3 V3 SE via USB, and since the vast majority of my prints are quick/tiny, it's just way too easy to send them via USB than any other...
Yup, attached... and here's a link to the Onshape where I created it (so you can edit if you want):

Great that you already have a file!
It would be too big for my print-bed, but I'm sure there would be some way to split it up and join it together... or just print on a bigger printer.
Interesting!
Curious if you already have some files / designs created, or just an idea in mind?
Printing something that already exists is one thing... but designing something is a whole-other animal. LOL!
It seems all the companies are just trying to keep up with Bambu... maybe incrementally improving, but I haven't seen anybody make the huge improvements that Bambu has made.
... and I hope / expect they will keep innovating in a way that keeps pushing all the companies to compete on price...
I watched a few videos, looked interesting, so I signed up for free and gave it a try. Pretty amazing, especially for it being new!
It's far from perfect, but like all other AI that's moving quick, give this a year or so and I think it will be very useful!

I go back and forth between getting a big core xy machine or not. I just worry about:
Ability to fix things if they break. Seems much easier on an open-source bed-slinger
Sound: They seem like they are all loud, but maybe that's just at the super fast speeds, so turning speed down will reduce...
Dropping-into this thread to say that I'm still quite pleased with this little printer. Unlike all my other printers, I haven't made a single adjustment to it. Everything just works fine for me... even the bed I'm happy with.
I will say that I'm REALLY liking the direct-drive!
I never realized...
I like Tom and he does good videos. This is def. a bit more sciency with lots of data.
High Level:
Risk-tolerance and risk-management are very interesting and often very personal topics. I try not to judge other people that have different risk-management processes and/or different...
The family cat is SUPER fluffy and full of hair, so, we bought her one of these: https://amzn.to/4dvKMfE
... and she LOVES it!
... problem is, it gets FULL of her hair and it's a pain to pull the hair from the rubbery bristles!
So, I took a few measurements, went into OnShape and whipped...
Interesting. I haven't dove deep into it, but I have mixed feelings ranging from "Are these really advances that should be patented and litigated against vs. contributing to the community" vs. "Business is business, and their goal is to make money... and I can't fault them if they are doing it...
Congrats on your new purchase!!! Thanks for sharing your first impressions and experiences.
It's just incredible what Bambu Labs has done for the the 3D printing space in the last few years. SO many companies are playing catch-up. I'm seeing a LOT of very large print-farms moving from...
Yup, I filter all my email, even through my non-gmail accounts, through gmail for their awesome spam filtering.
I used to try to do it all through Bayesian filtering, etc., but it was too hard. Gmail is just expert at it.
