I'm not sure. I would open each .inf file with a text editor, such as Wordpad, to check the contents. That should give you a hint.

Right-click on the .INF file. Click Install. Confirm, if prompted.

Google is your friend here. 7-Zip, WinZip, and other programs will open a Windows cabinet file. As for what features you'll get in the driver, there's no way to know other than trying.

I'm not sure what is your experience level with repairing printers, but you never force a printhead along the carriage. There will be a combination of button presses/touchscreen menu items on any given printer to move it out of the way, usually to the middle of the carriage.

From what I can tell from the manual, it looks like the screen from the J6940DW is the same screen. Of course, I can't be sure.

It was a pain to disassemble the scanner/copyboard section, but I got it done, and cleaned the glass. It works fine now.
