I've purchased in from alotofthings.com in the past and been really satisfied with the product and their service. I'm not able to access their site. Has anybody heard anything about them-like going out of business? I need to order some ink.
Thanks
I use TrueColor ink from www.alotofthings.com in my Canon MP-600 with great success. I figure it costs me around $.50 to refill a cartridge. You can't really complain about that and it's good ink. I pay $4.75 for 2oz of ink and get about 9 fills per bottle.
I have a problem with my Canon MP-600 that I never had with my previous HP printers. I can only do one print job at a time. If I send 2 jobs to the printer the second one shows up in the printer manager but never goes to printing after first job completes. Print manager disappears from the...
I received my cartridges yesterday(ordered on Sunday-pretty good service) and have installed them. The appear to be OEM cartridges with reset chips. All 5 ink levels reset to full and after running several color test documents the color seems very closely matched to Canon OEM ink. Pretty good...
If it's an HP cartridge with integral print head I doubt you will ever be able to remove dried ink from the print head. I used to use HP 56-57-58 cartridges which preceded the 90 series carts and was never able to reclaim a dried out cart.
I've had excellent resultw with ink form www.alotofthings.com amd also from www.inksupply.com (MIS). Alotofthings ink is TruColor and has worked quite well in my Canon MP600. I used a lot of MIS ink when I had a HP printer with excellent results. Both companies have provided excellent customer...
Have you consodered Canon. Their cartridges are very easy to refill, even the chipped ones, and the print quality on mine is better than I ever got off either of the two HP's I had.
I just ordered a set of chipped compatible cartridges for my MP 600 from Swift Ink. These are not refilled OEM's but compatibles with a chip. I paid $31.75 shipped for a set of 5. They are $5.95 each(I had a 10% coupon) plus $4.95 shipping by priority mail. I had previously bought unchipped...
I'm using the InkMon program and generally like it. The only shortcoming is that it does not monitor usage when I make copies on my MP600. It will be excellent for non all in one units. I just set mine up for a higher rate of usage so it warns me in plenty of time my carts are nearing empty.
I've had really good results with True Color inks from www.alotofthings.com . Prices were reasonable and service has been excellent. The colors seem to match the Canon ink quite closely.
It is my understanding that the printer records the serial number of cartridges that have been in the printer similar to the way my old HP PSC2110 did. If a cartridge is refilled and reinstalled in the printer is would not reset ink levels. The HP kept 2 serial numbers in memory so I had 3...
Something I have not seen mentioned in this discussion as relates to an individual purchasing a low priced resetter for home use. It has been my understanding that the chips are serialized and that the printer will not accept a reset cartridge as new if that serial number has been in the...
The Photo cartridges can't be used to replace the blue and magenta cartridges. They are used in printers that carry at least 6 cartridges designed for printing photos.
The CLI8-BK is dye ink and the PGI5BK is pigment ink. Unless you are printing photos you won't use much of the dye black. I believe anytime you print duplex it uses the pigment black due to bleed through.
