I'm also from Germany, the P800 looks also fine and will be much cheaper to run on third party stuff. I read the Precisioncolor Homepage. So 12x autoreset chip are 12x25=300$ on the other hand a set of empty, autoreset-chipped cartridges for the P800 are 50$ an aliexpress...
Is the question...
update after a year: It took rather a lot of prints until the old OCP Magenta ink was flushed out. Later (after new profiling :-) ) I have good results and a much better even gloss on my prints. So thanks for the hint of swapping the OCP Magentas for OEM Magentas!!!
Currently I'm think about...
a long time I was very happy with the semigloss TPI paper:
https://www.printerknowledge.com/threads/thanks-to-lothman-tpi-photo-paper-from-conrad-is-just-fabulous.5056/
but this paper is no longer available. So I found a seller on eBay with a very good alternative. It is sold under the Label...
no in my opinion it is no paper jam. If I pull out the paper it has o damage or dents.
If I reuse the very same paper with the epson printing tool it works. There is also no format warning.
I hope anybody can help me. If I print from Photoshop n 10x15 paper (300g lustre), the printer draws the paper in (correct in my eyes) but then gives a paper jam alert again and again.
if I use the same paper on A5 / A4 / A3 there is no problem.
if I use the 10x15cm Paper with the epson...
in the meantime I put in two new cartrdges with OEM VM and LVM ink, after 2 cleaning cycles and printing two a4 sheet with a magenta rectangular I still see only a very small improvement over the OCP ink. The magenta areas a still matte on glossy paper.
Any recommendations?
except the magenta I'm happy with the OCP set and since I can order directly from them they cost almost nothing (less than 1/4 of Farbenwerk).
So please could anybody give an idea for the large format ink cartridges OEM Espon. Do I have to stick for those of the Pro 4800 or is the ink in the...
Sorry but I have to dig out this old thread :)
For years I'm using OCP inks on my Epson R3000 und make my own profiles with a Colormunki and use lustre paper most of the time - very happy so far.
But recently I had some portraits with people wearing red/magenta cloths and there the lack of...
Hello,
I run OCP ink on my R3000 in refillable cartridges. These cartriddges have a battery and must be reset by connecting two Pins on the chip. Today I had to open my moms wristwatch in order to get a battery for finishing a print Job ;-)
Are there any cartridges with a small button for...
On my R2400 I had similar print results. The reason were not the refillable cartridges but a clogged tubing to the waste ink tank. So the ink stood on the pads instead of beeing pumped off. Then the Printhead was wetted by the small ink sea on the pad and dropped that on the paper.
Just have a...
I also use a windows cleaner, I think brand doesn't matter.
If this fails I would mix pharmacist's cleaning solution with ammonia: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5992
I primed and filled my R3000 refillable cartridges via the exit port with one of these adapters:
http://www.octoink.co.uk/products/Epson-Cartridge-Pull-Through-Adapter.html
This worked fine and if i remeber right on my R2400 this should also work. It pushes all air out of the reservoir into...
Just for Information:
I mailed OCP when they can offer inks for the R3000. They stated that other things have higher priority at the moment and that they won't offer inks for the Epson R3000 "in near futur".
Do I have to use the original Epson cartridges to initialise the printer or could this be done with the refillable cartridges. If I could sell the sealed original epson cartridges this would probably pay me a set of ink and refillable cartridges.
This 3 resetter:
http://www.druckerpatronentankstellen.de/CHIPS-CHIP-RESETTER/CHIP-RESETTER-FUeR-EPSON/EPSON-CHIP-RESETTER-Not-for-711801--1055611.html
works on the autoreset chip fitted cartridges from Mikling (chubs380 on ebay). So I can reset all the cartridges when refilling and don't have...
Hi Wolfgang,
very appreciated I'll stay tuned. Did you also use TPI paper from Conrad ElektroniK? I like their semi gloss a lot (R2400, IS inks).
