Cannon Ink Tank Error Message for the IP4300. Anything agreed on yet?

This may have nothing to do with the problem you are experiencing, but I'll pass it on for what it's worth. I purchased a Redsetter and refill kit for my MP600. All carts were refilled and reset OK. A short while later the printer would not recognise the PGI-5 BLK. Cleaning the chip did the...

Hobbicolors ink is sold on ebay - and that certainly is NOT junk. If you want good quality ink at a very competitive price, go there.

What happen to my chip resetter

Paypal give a guarantee as part of their service. I would write to them telling them what has happened and demanding your money back. I think Paypal would soon sort them out.

    Canon Ink Resetter

I think it depends on how much ink is remaining in the empty cartridge before you refill. I bought empty cartridges on ebay so I would have a spare set to refill. The first one was yellow and it looked like the sponge was very dry. I filled it using the German method, then withdrew the needle...

    Canon IP4000 3BK ink

I normally print envelopes using 'plain paper' and 'draft' setup. Printing is quick. But when I changed to thicker envelopes there was smudging at the edge of the envelope. So I tried setting up with 'Envelopes' and 'DL' for the size, thinking that would give more clearance from the print head...

What happen to my chip resetter

If the payment transaction is complete then you should have received a confirmation from your credit card company, or Paypal. Why not send patronenhandel a copy as an email extension. That should clear up the matter.

    Canon Chip Resetter Reports

I have an MP600 and have now replaced my first two carts. I installed InkMon5 to monitor the levels and have periodically taken out the carts to verify that I have InkMon5 set up right and to make adjustments to its usage figures. I have noticed that the Canon's ink warning light comes on as...

    Canon chip resetter (CLI-8 / PGI-5)

Is it known if the German ReDsetter will reset a partly used cart, or must it be empty first? I ask because I routinely top-up carts rather than wait for them to get empty.

They are two different colors and the chips on them are different. The printer thinks you have put the wrong cartridge in so won't recognise it.

    canon ip4000 printhead

In the driver properties under 'Maintenance' there is a box marked 'Auto Power'. There is the capability to enable or disable 'Power On' or 'Power Off'. I don't know whether those settings have any effect on your problem.

    canon ip4000 printhead

You have taken the print head out for one hour? I hope you are keeping the ink jets damp to prevent them drying out! It may be by design that the machine powers out after an hour with no print head. Try putting it back in.

Don't forget or ignore cartridge flushing.

Ink will always take the easiest path from the tank to the outlet , and in the Canon cartridges that will be mainly across the bottom of the sponge chamber, while the further up the sponge the less ink travels through it. So at the top of the sponge the ink will be almost static. But air is...
