dude...at least the all colors are firing! could be worse! that isn't that bad. You may actually make things worse by taking the ceramic portion apart and cleaning that way...seems the gasket gets messed...and also excessive syringe pressure may create gasket leakage etc. i would stop there...

i agree with tin ho.... lots of paper manufacturers and distributors to mix it all up.... you shouldn't have this problem with genuine canon paper...but not saying u have to use it....there a re cheaper solutions that are very smiliar to the real stuff without losing print quality. i know high...

you must be using photo paper that doesn't work well with canon's. some photopaper has a more plastic feel to it and doesn't take the ink very well...so in dark heavy areas it mottles up and also doesn't dry quickly. try genuine canon photo paper and you should see a huge difference...and then...

i am wondering if the cyan cartridge might be the problem, since u r refilling? obviously if u keep getting new heads, and cyan stops working soon after....i don't think the head is getting clogged that quickly....sounds to me the cartridges...maybe they aren't sealing correctly or something...

long read. I still haven't had a minute to pop off the screens on the plastic housing (inlet hole) to see if in fact the clogs lies there. Removing the screens will probably permanantly ruin it though...which i don't care. crappola pigment black carts i think jammed it up...
