WeInk.com cs response: There CRU contains Formulab ink

I previously contacted Image Specialists and WeInk about their inks. For their replies see: www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=395 see post #2 Unless there is a recent change, Inkgrabber ink is not Formulabs ink. I know that from using Grandads custom printer profiles for Inkgrabber...

Office Quality IP3000 cartridge suggestions please.

You could try BIJC#2 with a custom printer profile. See the BulkInkJetCarts Topic at www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=192. Post #23 has a comparison of the cartridges tested. If you find a non OEM cartridge that does not have a color cast without a printer profile, please let me know. JV

    Anyone have experience with 2for1imaging?

mytime45, I also had a green cast with BIJC#2 carts on my iP8500 printer. The green cast could be partly corrected with Photoshop. Using Grandad35 printer profile for the Old InkGrabber ink the green cast was completely corrected and my prints now are the same as with OEM inks. See the...

New technique to clean BCI-6 carts

Grandad, I tested the OA100 carts from https://private.abacus24-7.com because in their e-mail they indicated that their manufacturer buys ink from Formulabs. The OA100 carts (8 colors) were $20 including shipping. Your Formulabs printer profile did not work on the OA100 carts and abacus could...

New technique to clean BCI-6 carts

Nifty, I had some used up OEM carts from relatives and I was curious how well the cleaning worked. It works very well. I learned that BIJC#2 are the same as the Old Ink Grabber carts. Same photo and printer profile. Also it gave me an excuse to look for ink. Except I have enough carts for six...

New technique to clean BCI-6 carts

I cleaned a set of OEM and BulkInkJetCarts#2 cartridges per Grandads Post #1 above. Low's Hardware had a 3/4" x 3/8" hose barb fitting that I used to connect the 3/8" I.D. clear plastic tube the sink faucet. I drilled a 7/64 dia hole in the top of the sponge chamber 5/16 from the ink chamber...

    www.tacomascrew.com has nylon pan head screws catalog no. 146-202-2 (#6-32 x 3/8") and o-rings 193-301-1 that I got from a local store for $3.62 ( 20 screws + o-rings). Anyone have experience with 2for1imaging?

2for1 is at the same address as BulkInkJetCarts (see the Topic). On the 2for1 website their cart photos show a double sponge (a white sponge on top) like the BIJC#2 carts I am using. The BIJC#2 carts perform like OEM carts on my iP8500 printer with grandad35 custom printer profile for the Old...

In printing the Getty Image at Costco, I learned that printer profiles for Costco are available from www.drycreekphoto.com/Frontier/index.html I used the profile for the Kirkland, WA Costco printer and obtained an uncorrected profiled print. It was lighter due to the apparently smaller gamut...
