Hmm I tried blowing into it and nothing seems to be coming out of it. I tried blowing as hard as I could and nothing came out. I even took the blow drier to see if that would have any effect on it. But nothing.
So not sure what I am doing wrong.
I think I found it. Like I see this grove on the top of my cart. and it seems to make a 90 degree turn and disappear into the label and the first word on the label is canon. So you want me to blow there right?
I think I tired that once and it never worked for me(nothing every came out). Would I get the same effect if I just used the needle and took out ink from the sponge part?
Well when where the part where the nozzle of the cart lays on has some ink but I would think that would be normal since the metal is touching the the nozzle.
When I filled them up and took of the piece of tap not one drop came out. I even left it for a minute to 2 mins and not one drop came...
Hi
I have not been here for a while since I been busy and really what seemed to be the solution probably would be buy a new print head or printer.
I just refilled my printer with magenta and cyan. So now I got black, magenta and cyan are now self refilled. Yellow is still genuine but was the...
So
I had a chance to look quickly at the print head and I pressed on the print head and all the colors came out. It was hard to tell but it looked like nothing was being mixed up. However I noticed that there where 2 magenta lines and that one of the ones was close to the yellow line.
I...
Well I did the rinsing and stuff in the sink and kept running warm water through it till I did not see any thing come out. I then dried it off very good and put it back into the printer and printed(everything printed so nicely out and I thought the problem was solved).
A couple hours did...
Is there away to tell by looking at the print head if the seal is not sealing right.
I emailed canon and they emailed me this back.
Thank you for your E-mail inquiry regarding your i560.
Based on the information you have provided, the problem you are experiencing may be due to a clogged print...
Hi
So as many of you people know I tired to refill my cartridges and all of sudden I got messed up colors. After countless tries I could not get it working so I popped in a new gunuine cannon ink cartridge. Did a deep clean and called it a day.
Now I printed today a purge sheet and guess what...
Hi
As some of you may know I been having lots of trouble with my refilling cartridges. My yellow screwed up everything.
So I tried everything basically and it all failed so I am going to stick a genuine ink cart from canon and hope that everything goes back to normal and wait for another cart...
Well
I don't know what to do anymore.... Anyone have any ideas.
Basically if no one can Responds with a new idea by Friday I am throwing out the cartridge....... When the other inks run out I am going to try the other colors...... If they fail too I guess its back to buying full price canon...
Ok
So I just printed out a new sheet and same thing not the right color. Magenta is still screwed up it has a different color mix now it stasts off with light brown and as it goes along you start seeing some magenta till about the last quarter where you see a brown outline then a section of...
Ok
So this is where I am at. I took the screw off. I took out my glue gun and put a big blob of glue over the hole. There is no way the air can escape now.
I did a cleaning cycle and printed out a purge page and all looks good...... now we wait.
So now there is one small hole that is open...
Would tape be a good way to seal the hole? Or would that not give an air tight Seal?
I don't like these screws very much though I wish they have given me those rubber stopper since it seems like it is so easy to ruin the hole with a screw(if that is the problem).
Yes I stood it over night and...
What do you mean by "wick some of the cyan ink from the outlet"?. Like do you mean push on the sides then take a paper towel and dab around on the nossel?
I must say I am quite surprised that you think it is cyan that is causing the problem since that is a cartridge I bought from canon and till...
Ok Here are the scans
So one of the scans(left side) shows how it looks after a cleaning cycle happened. The other one shows how it looked after a couple hours on the cart sitting in the printer. With these picts you should get a basic idea how it looks since the scanner seems to not be super...
