Exactly half your yellow nozzles are working. Although it could be a coincidence that exactly half of the nozzles are clogged, it is far more likely to be a print head fault.
You can see the problem more clearly if you print a Service Test Print:
(These instructions are for an ip4300, but I...
1. It's a laser printer (generally lasers are not as good as inkjets for photo printing on photo paper)
2. Supplied with 4 reduced capacity starter cartridges.
3. Toner catridges are about $190 for a full set of four (Amazon).
4. Toner cartridges in the UK are about $320 a set (current exchange...
This is how to do a manual print head alignment on my ip4300 - most Canon printers are the same or similar ...
Using Windows
Open any program with a print option (eg Notepad)
File -> Print -> (select your printer) -> Preferences -> Maintenance -> Custom Settings -> Tick "Align Heads Manually"...
Canon refurbished printers are excellent value (I bought one a couple of years ago).
But here in the UK, Canon Outlet only sell them on Ebay Auctions (seller name "canon_uk1"). The average selling price for an MP640 is about $120 - $125 including postage (at the current exchange rate). It's a...
@tony
Using refilled CLI-8 carts with reset chips, I find that:
1. When the ink status monitor first shows 2/3 full, the ink compartment is half full.
2. When the ink status monitor first shows 1/3 full, the ink compartment is empty.
So my arithmetic calculates that the sponge holds about half...
Based on the UK MP210 driver on my PC, the MP210 (and therefore probably the MP560) will also do borderless on some other sizes:
4"x6", 5"x7", 8"x10", Letter, (as in Stratman's list above, but not Legal and #10 envelopes), plus A4, 4"x8", 89x127mm, 127x178mm, 100x148mm, 54x86mm, 55x91mm...

Jon - You are not going to like this ...
The ip5200 is very similar to the ip4200, and it's a fair guess that the ip4200 and ip5200 share the same error codes. The ip4200 Service Manual says:
----------------
Cycles of blinking in orange (Alram[sic] LED) and green (Power LED)
20 times

Your ip6210 uses CL41 or CL51 cartridges. The sponge is essential for these carts. If you refill the cartridge with ink with no sponge, you will probably get splats and splots on the paper when you print due to the cartridge leaking. Even with the sponge in place, you should be sure there is no...
Ink level resetting is a function of the cartridge, not of the printer. So a 520/521 resetter (such as the 15 Ebay one) can be used for any printer with 520/521 carts. But you can't reset 520/521 carts with a 220/221 resetter, even though the carts are physically identical and hold the same...
Try putting it back in the resetter again. You should see the following ...
1. A momentary flash from the cartridge LED as you insert it in the resetter.
2. Then no light for 2-3 seconds.
3. Then a steady red LED.
If you get this pattern, it means the resetter is happy with the cartridge, so...
@smootdawg
It seems no chip resetters are available for 210/211 cartridges, and there are no other methods of resetting the ink level indicators to show full. Love to be proven wrong, but that's the way it is.
I assume you are happy with your refill technique and you haven't had any problems...
I bought a bottle from Boots in the UK many years ago, but got some funny looks from them and questions about why I wanted it (as if I would really tell them if I wanted it for chemical warfare!). So my last bottle came from Ebay. Here's one example from many on Ebay UK ...
I think the answer is that you cannot change the printer to accept Euro cartridges.
The reason for saying this is that some people have reset the firmware on some Pixma printers (ip4600 etc) from US to Euro in order to enable their CD printing functions, and they have reinstalled Euro...
Canon Outlet (Ebay UK username "canon_uk1") only sell refurbished products. I assume/guess the reason why inks are preinstalled is that they were needed as part of the testing process for refurbishment.
I bought a Canon ip4200 from them a couple of years ago. This came with NO inks and NO...
Thanks to everybody for the comprehensive advice, which I took into account when refilling some more ip4700 cartridges yesterday.
Everything went OK - though it was slightly easier than normal because I was experimenting by refilling half-full carts which didn't need the "turn upside down and...
I have been refilling Canon cartridges for quite a long time using the German method with syringes. Recently I have tried the German method with squeezy bottles ... and need some advice.
Step 1
Turn cartridge over - insert needle - press sides of bottle to start filling - no problem.
Step 2...
I assume you have already installed the printer's drivers and it shows up as a USB printer in your list of attached printers.
Now try changing the printer's port from USB to network. The procedure varies depending on your version of Windows, but in Win 7 it is ...

As said, the 5/8 resetter will not work. You should also note that resetters for 520/521 or 820/821 carts also won't work with 220/221 carts, even though they look identical and are sold for ip4700 printers.
There are three different types of 220/221 resetter sold on ebay (US) at the moment...
